Stone
School Geographical Location
The Stone School is located near the Western base of
the Big Horn Mountains in North Central Wyoming, on
US Highway 14 between the village of Shell nine (9)
miles to the East, and the town of Greybull six (6)
miles to the West. Highway 14 is the most common route
traveled by tourists traveling West from the Black Hills
of South Dakota enoute to Yellowstone National Park
located just over two hours to the West of the Stone
School.
